Uninstall recent updated via Windows 10 recovery options

If you are stuck in a Windows boot loop try this

Prerequisites: PC will power on and being you to the recovery options menu

Difficulty Level: Member • Nerd • Platypus

Estimated Time: 5-20 minutes

Tools Required: Windows 8 or later PC

Expected Outcome:  You can boot into Windows as normal

Steps to Perform 

1. Power on the PC that is stuck in a boot loop and wait until you are presented with the Recovery options. You may need to let the machine reboot several times before the recovery screen is shown
2. From the recovery options click Troubleshoot > Advanced Options >Uninstall updates
3. You will be asked if you want to uninstall the latest Feature Updates or Quality Updates. Try Feature Updates first
4. Windows will uninstall the recent updates and hopefully resolve the boot loop
