Set default printer in Windows 11

The printer settings have changed in Windows 11. Here's how to set your default printer

Prerequisites: A printer that is already setup in Windows 11

Expected Outcome: You will now have a default printer of your choice

Steps to Perform 

  1. Press the Windows key or click on the Start menu
  2. Search for Devices and Printers and click on it
  3. Find your printer in the list and right-click on it
  4. Click Set as default printer
    1. If you don't have this option scroll to the bottom of the printer list and uncheck Let Windows manage my default printer
