Getting a hold of a customer service agent at Comcast can be easy with these methods

Expected Outcome: You will be connected with a customer service agent at Comcast
Online chat method
- Navigate to https://www.xfinity.com/chat/
- For best/fastest results here, make sure you sign in before starting a chat
- Type a question into the chat prompt and submit and a new window will pop up with the chat
- Once the chat is open type "agent" in the chat box
- Repeat step 3 and ignore the responses until you are asked if you want to chat with an agent now or receive a phone call later
- Choose "chat with agent"
- If you get a response telling you there are no agents available simply type "agent" again until you get the prompt and repeat. You may need to try several times but you will eventually be connected. You do not have to wait between attempts
Phone method
- Call 1-800-XFINITY from the phone number that is tied to your account
- You will be prompted to confirm your address
- Once you confirm you will be asked what you need help with
- Do not say anything other than "agent"
- Simply repeat "agent" ignoring the voice prompts and you will eventually be automatically connected to an agent
- This method is not as fast as the online chat method and the voice prompt may hang up on you a few times. Simply repeat the process and you will be connected eventually
