How to show hidden files and folders in Windows 10

There are some files and folders that are hidden in Windows 10. You can view them by changing some settings

Steps to Perform 

  1. Open Control Panel
    1. Click on Appearance and PersonalizationAnnotation 2021-09-14 131918
    2. Click Show hidden files and folders

    3. Toggle Show hidden files, folders, and drives
      Annotation 2021-09-14 144449
      You will now be able to see any hidden files and folders

    Note that more often than not, these folders are hidden for the protection of the computer and are files necessary to the computer's baseline operations. Use extra caution when interacting with these files, as moving, changing, or deleting them may result in seriously adverse effects to your device.
