How to import photos from Lively Flip Phone to Windows 10 PC

You can import photos from your Lively Flip Phone to your Windows 10 PC using the Photos app in Windows

Prerequisites: A Windows computer and camera or phone with pictures to import

Difficulty Level: Member • Nerd • Platypus

Estimated Time: 10 minutes

Tools Required: Your PC and phone

Expected Outcome:  Photos on your phone will be copied onto your computer

Steps to Perform 

1. Connect your phone to your computer with a USB cable
2. The Photos app should automatically open when you connect your device

   2. If it does not open automatically or you have closed it and need to reopen it, click on the start menu and scroll through the list of programs and click Photos
3. Click on the Import button in the upper right-hand corner of the Photos app. It is the small box with the little arrow. It the the third icon from the right.

4. From the drop down menu click From a connected device
5. You will see a popup dialog with a list of all the pictures on your phone in order by date. The newest pictures at the top, oldest at the bottom. They will also be grouped by month
6. Click on each photo that you want to import to your computer
7. Once you have selected all the photos you wants to import
8. Once you are ready to import your photos, look toward the top left-hand corner of the import dialog and click on Change location and a windows explorer dialog will popup
   
   1. This is how we are going to choose what folder on the computer we want to import the photos to
9. In the windows explorer dialog, navigate to the directory on your computer you wish to import your photos to
10. Once you are in the directory you wish to import your photos to, click on the button next to cancel in the bottom right-hand corner of the Explorer window and you should be taken back to the previous dialog where you selected the photos to be imported
11. Click on Import in the bottom right-hand corner of the dialog
12. The photos that you selected will now be imported to your computer
    
    1. You can access them by going to Explorer and navigating to the directory in which you saved them
