How to Enable File and Printer Sharing Windows 10
If you want to share files or printers with other users on your network follow this guide
Prerequisites: A printer or directory on your computer setup to share
Difficulty Level: Member • Nerd • Platypus

Expected Outcome: You will now be able to share files and printers with other users on the same network
Tools Required: A PC running Windows 10
Steps to Perform
- Right-click on the network icon on the taskbar and click "Open Network & Internet Settings"
- Scroll down and click "Network and Sharing Center"
- Click on "change advanced sharing settings"
- From here you can turn file and printer sharing on and off
If you are on a Private network be sure to enable file and printer sharing under the Private section. If you are an a Guest or Public network enable file and printer sharing under the Guest or Public section
