Tools Required: A printer and wireless gateway that supports WPS
Steps to Perform
- Locate the WPS button on your gateway router
- It is usually on the back near the ethernet ports and will be denoted by this symbol

- Locate the WPS button on your printer
- On older Brother printers it will be on the back next to the USB and ethernet ports. You may need a paper clip to press it
- On new HP printers there is no WPS button. You will need to click on the WiFi symbol on the touch screen and select Wireless Protected Setup
- Press the WPS button on the printer and follow the onscreen prompts if applicable
- Press the WPS button on the gateway
- Wait at least 2 minutes for the printer to connect. If the printer fails to connect try again
