How to add Ring devices to the Ring app

This guide will show you how to connect and manage your Ring devices from the ring app

Prerequisites: A place in your home for your Ring device to be installed

Difficulty Level: Nerd • Platypus

Estimated Time: 5-10 minutes

Expected Outcome: The Ring device will show up in the Ring app and can be controlled from the Ring app as well

Tools Required: A Ring device, a smart phone or tablet with the Ring app installed, and a Ring account

Steps to Perform 

1.  Open the Ring app
2. Tap the three lines in the upper right hand corner
3. From the menu tap Add Device
4. From the list choose which device you are trying to add
5. Follow the onscreen prompts to finish setting up your device
