Change OS X Sleep Timer

This Gizmo Guide details the process of changing how long your Mac needs to be idle before it goes to sleep

Steps to Perform 

  1. Click on the Apple logo in the upper left-hand corner
  2. Click on System Preferences1-launch-system-preferences-macos
  3. Click on Energy Saversystem-preferences-mac-os-x-desktop
  4. Adjust the Computer Sleep slider to the time you want
    energy-saver-setting
