      Changing a Yale Lock's Batteries

      Yale Locks are very useful and operate off of battery power. You will need to make sure it has power for it to work properly

      Prerequisites: Own and operate a Yale Lock

      Difficulty Level: Member • Nerd • Platypus

      Estimated Time: 5 Minutes

      Expected Outcome: The Yale Lock's batteries will be changed

      Tools Required: 4 AA batteries and a Phillips head screwdriver

      Steps to Perform

      1. Remove the back plate on the Yale Lock by using the phillips head screwdriver
      2. Remove the old batteries
      3. Replace the batteries
      4. Reattach the back plateyale lock 2
