The built-in editor of HubSpot’s Knowledge Base lacks capabilities in several areas including templates, formatting, ease of use. We will use Google Docs to address these deficiencies. It is VERY important that all of our Gizmo Guides™ are consistent

Prerequisites: Access to our Gizmo Cares, Inc. G-suite; Experience with Google Drive, Google Docs, and using Google Templates; Access to HubSpot’s Knowledge Base Dashboard from the Service Menu; Experience with Copy/Paste

Steps to Perform

  1. Open Google Docs or Google Drive

  1. Create a new Document from Template

  1. Save in Gizmo Guides folder

  1. Open Knowledge Base Portal in HubSpot under Service Menu

  2. Create a new Knowledge Base Article

  1. Copy and Paste the sections from the Google Doc to the Knowledge Base Article

  1. Pick a Category and Publish your Article
